Fujitsu pin printers use a serial interface to connect to the PC. The Fujitsu pin printers use the Enhanced Point of Sale (EPOS) printer controller. This controller has been designed to support the Fujitsu pin printers, as well as many other types of printers.

The Fujitsu pin printers can be set up to support the following data formats:

* Character set: ANSI/ISO 8859-1 (U.S. English)
* Fonts: Draft and Courier
* Resolution: 200 DPI
* Barcode font: Code 3 of 9 (or other supported barcode fonts)
* Print speed: up to 700 characters per second

To set up the printer, the driver must be installed on the PC. The driver is available from the Fujitsu website or from the manufacturer of the printer. Once the driver is installed, the printer can be configured using the Windows Printer Settings utility.

Users can also adjust the settings of the Fujitsu pin printer by going into the Printer’s Settings section of the driver. There, they can adjust the data format (character set, fonts, resolution, etc.), the print speed, and the barcode font.

To ensure that the printer is working properly, it is recommended that users frequently check the printer’s status to make sure that the printer is working correctly. A status report can be generated from the Printer Settings utility.
