Sharp AR-1808S Printer Sharing

The Sharp AR-1808S is an all-in-one printer, scanner, copier and fax machine that is perfect for small office and home use. It’s a simple and reliable printer that can be easily shared so everyone in your office or home can take advantage of its features. Here’s how to set up Sharp AR-1808S printer sharing.

1. Connect the printer to your network. Plug one end of an Ethernet cable into the back of the printer and the other end into a router or switch. Turn the printer on and wait for it to detect the network connection.

2. Install the printer software on each computer. You can download the software from the Sharp website or use the installation CD included with the printer.

3. Configure the software. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure the software for your network. This will typically include entering your network’s IP address, subnet mask and gateway.

4. Share the printer. On the computer that has the printer’s software installed, right click on the printer icon in the System Tray and select “Sharing”. Click on “Share this printer” and enter a name for the shared printer.

5. Install the printer on other computers. On each computer that needs access to the shared printer, open the Printers and Faxes folder. Select “Add Printer” and follow the on-screen instructions to install the shared printer.
