Power on your printer and connect it to your computer or laptop.
Go to the control panel and select "Devices and Printers".
Right-click on your printer and select "Printer Properties" or "Sharing".
Choose the "Sharing" tab and check the "Share this printer" box.
Enter a name for your printer. This name will be used to identify the printer when setting up other computers.
Under the "Security" tab, click on the "New password" box and enter a password. To make sure that only authorized users can access the printer, it is recommended that you create a strong password.
Click "OK" and your printer is now shared.
To connect other computers to your shared printer, open the "Devices and Printers" window on the other computer, select "Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer" and enter the name of your printer.
If a password is required, enter it to connect the printer. If a Windows 8 or 10 computer is connected to the printer, the driver may need to be installed. To do this, select the "Have Disk" button and enter the path to the driver file.
Once the printer is connected, it can be used by all computers in your network.
