In order to share a printer on Windows 7, follow the steps below.

1. Connect the printer to the computer you want to use to share it.

2. Open the Control Panel, select ‘Hardware and Sound’ and then click ‘Printers’.

3. Right click on the printer you want to share, and then select ‘Printer properties’.

4. Select the ‘Sharing’ tab and check the box next to ‘Share this printer’.

5. Enter a name for the printer that other computers in your network can recognize.

6. If you would like to make the printer available over the internet, then select the box next to ‘Render Print Jobs on client computers’ and enter the internet address of the printer.

7. Finally, click ‘OK’ to save your changes.

Your printer should now be available for other computers in your network. If you would like to access the printer over the internet, you will need to configure your router and firewall to allow connections to the computer that has the printer connected.
