The printer can be shared over a network by specifying its name. To share the printer, enter the printer's name and IP address on the networked computer. Make sure to allow the printer to be shared (this may require entering a password in the printer settings). Then, other computers connected to the network will be able to find and print to the printer. The printer can also be shared with up to 700 bytes of data. In order to do this, go to the printer settings and select “share file”. Then, enter the file name and size of the shared file, as well as any required passwords or codes. Once done, other computers connected to the network will be able to access and print the shared file.
