In order to ensure that a printer’s scan can be shared, there are a few steps that can be taken. First and foremost, the printer should be connected to the local network, and then shared. This can be done by accessing the printer’s settings menu, and then selecting the “Sharing” tab. In the Sharing menu, the user should then select the “Scan to Network” option, and then provide the name of the network share that they would like to access. This should be followed by entering the login credentials, if required. Once these steps are completed, the printer’s scan should be able to be shared, and it will be accessible on any computer connected to the same network.
