The security of the printer can be further enhanced by setting up a PIN. To set a PIN, open the printer’s driver just as before and select the Security tab. This time, select the PIN option and enter the desired PIN. As with the password, the PIN should be re-entered in the Confirm PIN section to ensure accuracy. Finally, save the changes and close the driver.

To further secure the printer, the user can enable encryption. To do this, open the printer’s driver and select the Security tab again. This time, select the Encryption option and enter the desired encryption type. Make sure to save the changes and close the driver when finished.
