共享打印机从磁盘安装

Shared printers are printers connected to a network, allowing multiple users to access the same printer. This makes it easy to print documents from any connected computer, eliminating the need for each computer to have their own printer. Installing a shared printer from a disk requires the following steps.

1. Download the printer driver from the manufacturer's website for the printer you want to install. Unzip the driver and save the necessary files to a floppy disk.

2. Insert the floppy disk into the computer to be used for the shared printer, and open the Printers folder.

3. Click the “Add Printer” icon and select “Local printer attached to this computer”.

4. Select the port that is connected to the printer and click “Next”.

5. Select “Install the driver from a specific location”, then click “Browse” to locate the driver files.

6. Select the driver file and click “Open”.

7. Select the printer name and click “Next”.

8. Select the “Share this printer on the network” box, click “Next”, then click “Finish”.

9. Repeat steps 3-8 on all computers connected to the printer.

Once the network and drivers are set up, the shared printer will be available from any connected computer. The last step is to test the printer by printing a test page from one of the computers connected to the printer. Once the printer is installed and tested, it is ready for use by all connected computers.
